Cancellations & Refunds – Avara Home

At Avara Home, we are committed to transparency and fairness in our cancellation, return, and refund processes. Please review the policy below before placing your order.


Cancellations (Before Order Ships)

Orders may be canceled free of charge at any time before they leave the warehouse, with the exception of custom or made-to-order items.

To cancel, please contact us as quickly as possible:


Cancellations of Custom Orders

Custom or made-to-order products cannot be canceled or refunded. These items are manufactured specifically for your order.

  • All sales are final for custom or made-to-order items.

  • Your warranty ensures you receive a fully functional and operational product.


Refunds & Returns

  • Customers may request a return or exchange within 30 days of delivery, unless the manufacturer has a stricter policy listed on the product page (which overrides this general rule).

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Some brands/manufacturers do not permit returns once an order has shipped; in those cases, returns cannot be accepted.

  • Outright returns will incur up to 35% restocking fee plus return shipping costs.

  • Exchanges may reduce or waive these costs depending on the product.

  • Products must be unopened and unused to qualify for return.


Brand-Specific Restocking Fees & Policies

Restocking fees and shipping policies vary by manufacturer. Please review the brand-specific guidelines below before placing your order:

Forno

  • Returns accepted up to 30 days after delivery.

  • Damage or defects must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

  • If your order arrives damaged, please refuse delivery.

  • A 30% restocking fee per product may apply for customer remorse returns.

  • Returns are not accepted for products that have been unboxed or installed.

ZLINE

  • Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery.

  • Shipping charges are deducted from the refund.

  • A 20% restocking fee may apply.

  • Damage or defects must be reported within 24 hours of delivery to qualify for a replacement or refund.

  • Returns are not accepted for products that have been installed or for requests made after 30 days.


Shipping Times

  • Estimated shipping times are listed on product pages.

  • Estimates are based on supplier and freight information and may change due to supply chain delays, manufacturing issues, or shipping constraints.

  • Delays are outside Avara Home’s control.


Customer Agreement (by placing an order, you acknowledge):

  1. I will inspect all packages at delivery and note/photograph any damages within 24 hours.

  2. I understand return shipping costs and restocking fees are my responsibility if I request a refund or exchange.

  3. I understand once an order leaves the warehouse, a full refund is not possible.

  4. I understand that brand-specific return policies override the general 30-day return policy when noted on product pages.

  5. I understand shipping estimates are not guarantees and may change due to circumstances outside Avara Home’s control.


Damages

  • Please inspect your package upon delivery.

  • If you notice damage, note it at delivery and send photos/videos of the product, box, and SKU within 24 hours to support@avarahome.com.

  • Claims made after 24 hours cannot be processed.


Warranty

  • Warranties vary by manufacturer. See individual product pages for details.

  • Warranty covers defects that occur over time with normal use.

  • Shipping damages must be reported within 30 days; late reports are not covered under warranty.


Returns Default Policy

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping charges and any reconsignment fees caused by customer error, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

  • Most products include a manufacturer’s warranty guaranteeing a fully functional product at no extra cost.


Promotions (BOGO, Discounts)

  • For BOGO offers, both items must be returned for a full refund.

  • If one item is returned, you will receive a replacement or store credit equal to that item’s value.

  • Return shipping costs and restocking fees may apply once the order has shipped.

  • Refunds are issued only to the original payment method.


Chargebacks

Avara Home works hard to keep our policies fair and transparent. If you experience an issue with your order, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly.

  • Filing a payment dispute or chargeback should only be used as a last resort.

  • If you have not received your product, or if there is an issue with your order, we will work with you to find the best resolution.

  • Submitting a chargeback without first contacting us may delay the resolution process.
